Basketball Recap: Mobile Christian Piles Up the Points Against Leroy

A well-balanced attack led Mobile Christian over Leroy in every quarter on their way to victory on Saturday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Mobile Christian Leopards blew the Leroy Bears out of the water with a 70-30 final score. With the Leopards ahead 41-13 at the half, the match was all but over already.

Despite the defeat, Leroy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Ayden Tolbert posted seven points.

Mobile Christian pushed their record up to 11-6 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.4 points per game. As for Leroy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Mobile Christian will head out to challenge Cottage Hill Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Leroy, they will welcome Southern Choctaw at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
