Basketball Recap: Community School of Naples Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Community School of Naples kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 64-60 to the Aubrey Rogers Patriots. The Seahawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Patriots apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.

Aubrey Rogers can attribute much of their success to Daniel Coldiron, who posted 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Hunter Puthoff, who put up 15 points.

The win got Aubrey Rogers back to even at 1-1.

Community School of Naples has already played their next matchup, a 46-43 victory against Ransom Everglades on the 22nd. As for Aubrey Rogers, they will be taking part in a tournament against Mater Academy Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
