Soccer Recap: North Forney Comes Up Short

North Forney was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rockwall Yellowjackets. The Falcons were probably out for revenge after losing 4-0 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

North Forney's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Rockwall, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-1-1 and their overall record up to 3-7-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Forney will challenge Longview at 7:15 p.m. on February 11th. As for Rockwall, they will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against Tyler Legacy at 7:15 p.m. Tyler Legacy will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each contest than the last.
