Soccer Recap: Glide Comes Up Short

Glide was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Lakeview Honkers, falling 7-3. That's two games in a row now that Glide have lost by exactly four goals.

Glide's loss dropped their record down to 2-5-1. As for Lakeview, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Glide will square off against Lost River at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lakeview, they will challenge Illinois Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lakeview will be up against Illinois Valley's rather soft defense (which has allowed five goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
