Tecumseh faced Castle in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Braves never let the Knights get on the board and left with a 9-0 win. Considering the Braves have won 13 matchups by more than eight runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Tecumseh is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Castle, their loss ended a 13-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 20-6-1.

Tecumseh and Castle are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Braves will square off against Tell City at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Marksmen have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.05 runs per game on average), something Tecumseh will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Castle, they will face off against Evansville North at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
