Volleyball Game Preview: Braintree Wamps vs. Wellesley Raiders

Braintree hasn't had much luck against Wellesley recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Wamps will host the Raiders at 4:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Tuesday, Braintree was able to grind out a solid win over Weymouth, taking the game 3-1. The Wamps have beaten the Wildcats the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Wildcats has come to flipping the script.

Braintree had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 25-27, 25-19, 25-10, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Wellesley earned a 3-1 victory over Brookline on Tuesday.

Braintree's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Wellesley, their victory bumped their record up to 9-3.
