Baseball Recap: Panther Creek Extends Road Winning Streak to Three

After losing to Sulphur Springs the last time they met, Panther Creek decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Panthers walked away with a 7-3 victory over the Wildcats on Thursday.

Panther Creek saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cayd Miller, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI. Dawson Stokan was another, going 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Panther Creek pushed their record up to 16-7-4 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Sulphur Springs, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 15-9 record.
