            Basketball Recap: North Duplin Rebels vs. Hobbton Wildcats        
        
		
        
        
            North Duplin waltzed into their match  on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They really took it to the Hobbton Wildcats for the full four quarters, racking up  a  57-18 victory. The  game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Rebels had established  a  38 point advantage.
North Duplin had a senior duo take command as  Tateyawna Faison  posted 14  points in addition to eight  boards and three  steals and  Addy Higginbotham  earned eight points along with seven  assists and six  steals. Higginbotham has been hot, having  posted three or more  steals the last six times she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Eva Quintanilla, who  put up six points in addition to five  rebounds and four  steals.

 North Duplin  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 15  offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least eight  offensive boards every time they've taken the court this season.
North Duplin pushed their record up to 19-4 with the  win, which was their eighth straight  at home. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.5 points over those games. As for Hobbton,  they are  on  a  14-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-16.
 North Duplin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hobbton, they will take on Lakewood at 7:00  p.m.  on Monday.
