Baseball Recap: Santa Fe Comes Up Short

Santa Fe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 10-3 to the Lone Jack Mules. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Chiefs of the 20-4 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2025.

Santa Fe saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dalton Doak, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and two RBI.

Santa Fe's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Lone Jack, the victory was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-3.

Santa Fe didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 16-15 win against Northwest on the 22nd. As for Lone Jack, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 10-3 victory against Norborne on the 21st.
