Volleyball Recap: Hall Comes Up Short at Home Against Seneca

Hall unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 2-0 to the Seneca Fighting Irish on Monday. The Red Devils have struggled against the Fighting Irish recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Hall was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring 21 points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-21.

Kaitlyn Coutts paced Hall's offense, picking up seven kills. Coutts got some help from Emma McCook and her 17 assists.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hall is headed away from home for the first time to take on Serena at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Seneca, they will square off against Peotone at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
