Preview: RHAM Raptors vs. Simsbury Trojans
The RHAM Raptors will be playing in front of their home fans against the Simsbury Trojans at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
RHAM suffered their biggest loss since December 15, 2023 on Wednesday. They were beaten by Newington 63-34. RHAM was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-13.
Meanwhile, after a string of 12 wins, Simsbury's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 37-30 to Middletown. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Simsbury has scored all season.
RHAM dropped their record down to 3-10 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Simsbury, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-1.
