Soccer Game Preview: Burroughs vs. Crescenta Valley

Burroughs hasn't had much luck against Crescenta Valley recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Burroughs Bears are taking a road trip to take on the Crescenta Valley Falcons at 3:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Friday just wasn't the day for Burroughs' offense. They lost 3-0 to Granada Hills Charter on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 634th, while the Highlanders are ranked 253rd).

Meanwhile, Crescenta Valley might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Harvard-Westlake an easy 4-1 win.

Crescenta Valley's goal came courtesy of Eric Davtyan, who's now up to two this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Burroughs and nudges their season record down to 4-7. As for Crescenta Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2-1.
