Basketball Game Preview: Magnolia West Mustangs vs. Klein Oak Panthers

Magnolia West is on a four-game streak of home losses, Klein Oak a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Tuesday. The Magnolia West Mustangs will welcome the Klein Oak Panthers at 7:00 p.m.

Magnolia West is headed into the match out to prove that what happened against Klein on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Magnolia West was dealt a 69-29 defeat at the hands of Klein. The Mustangs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-10.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Klein Oak). They were the clear victor by a 76-52 margin over Tomball on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Panthers have posted since January 5th.

Klein Oak's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-6. As for Magnolia West, their loss dropped their record down to 4-14.
