Middle Tennessee Christian put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Friendship Christian Commanders by a score of 3-1. The Cougars have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Commanders, too.

Middle Tennessee Christian walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-13, 25-23, 25-27, 25-21.

Kyla Scharfman and Emma Carbonell certainly did their best on Wednesday to avoid the loss. Scharfman had 29 digs, while Carbonell had 31 assists and 13 kills. Carbonell has been hot recently, having posted 13 or more assists the last four times she's played.

Middle Tennessee Christian's victory bumped their record up to 11-0. As for Friendship Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.

After both having extra time off, Middle Tennessee Christian and Grace Christian Academy will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Friendship Christian has already played their next contest (against Donelson Christian Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
