Basketball Recap: Lakewood Comes Up Short

Lakewood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 24th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 48-32 bruising from the Bear Creek Bears. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 63-53 on February 1st.

Despite the loss, Lakewood still got an impressive performance from Quentin Wilson, who went 8-for-20 to rack up 20 points.

Lakewood's loss dropped their record down to 0-23. As for Bear Creek, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-15.

As of now, neither Lakewood nor Bear Creek have any future games scheduled.
