Brookfield Central is still undefeated this season after their game against Divine Savior Holy Angels on Friday, but Divine Savior Holy Angels came as close as anyone has to beating them. The Lancers came out on top in a nail-biter against Divine Savior Holy Angels, sneaking past 5-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Lancers have posted since March 21, 2024.

Lexi Eichhorn spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up 11 Ks.

On the hitting side, Sasha Benjamins was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. That stolen base marked the first that she snagged this season. Daina Bieck was another key player, scoring a run while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
