Recap: Delaware Military Academy Seahawks vs. Concord Raiders
There's no place like home for The Delaware Military Academy Seahawks, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They blew past Concord 45-6 at home. Delaware Military Academy pushed the score to 38-0 by the end of the third, a deficit Concord had no chance of recovering from.
Delaware Military Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Odell Teel out in front who rushed for 54 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 41 yards and a touchdown on only three passes. Saalem Frink was another key contributor, rushing for 68 yards and a touchdown on only five carries.
Delaware Military Academy's victory bumped their record up to 4-4. As for Concord, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Delaware Military Academy will take on Newark at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Delaware (Newark is ranked 27th, while Delaware Military Academy is ranked 19th). As for Concord, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Caravel at 10:30 a.m. on October 28th. Caravel will be coming into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.
