Basketball Recap: Bella Wilson and Opal Wilson Secure Win for Nathan Hale

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Franklin, Nathan Hale was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They strolled past the Evergreen Wolverines with points to spare, taking the game 32-16.

Leading Nathan Hale to victory were Opal Wilson and Bella Wilson. Opal posted three points in addition to 14 blocks and six boards, while Bella went 5-for-8 to rack up 11 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Those three steals gave Bella a new career-high.

Nathan Hale's victory bumped their record up to 2-18. As for Evergreen, they dropped their record down to 2-19 with the loss, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season.

As of now, neither Nathan Hale nor Evergreen have any future games scheduled.
