            The Coral Reef Barracudas will head out on the road to  face off against  the Sunset Knights  at 3:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Coral Reef will be strutting in after a  victory while Sunset will be coming in after a  defeat.
Coral Reef made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Goleman, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Coral Reef was the clear victors by  a  15-0 margin over Goleman on Tuesday. The  matchup marked the Barracudas' most dominant  win of the  season so far.

Coral Reef got a great performance from  Adrian Nunez as he  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only  one  hit while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Nunez is becoming a predictor of Coral Reef's success: when he allows at  most three  hits the team is 2-1 (and 1-8 when he doesn't).
 At the plate,  Adrian Romero was a standout: he scored three  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances. What's more,  he posted two  RBI, the most he's  had since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  Oscar Sanchez, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-4.

 Meanwhile, Sunset suffered their closest  loss since May 1, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of Hialeah Gardens by a score of  4-2. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Sunset's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Coral Reef, their victory  ended  a  four-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 3-9.
 Everything went Coral Reef's way against Sunset when the teams last played  back in March of 2021, as Coral Reef made off with  a  20-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Coral Reef since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
