Soccer Game Preview: Lincoln vs. St. Raphael Academy

The Lincoln Lions are taking a road trip to challenge the St. Raphael Academy Saints at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Lincoln's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They blew past Hope 3-0. Lincoln haven't had any issues with Hope recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, St. Raphael Academy and Scituate finished up on equal footing with a 2-2 draw on Tuesday.

St. Raphael Academy's draw gives them a new season record of 5-9-2. As for Lincoln, their win bumped their record up to 8-4-3.

Everything went Lincoln's way against St. Raphael Academy when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as Lincoln made off with a 4-1 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lions since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
