Calera's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Brookwood, their win bumped their record up to 2-4.

Everything went Calera's way against Brookwood when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as Calera made off with a 35-14 victory. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was the Panthers' Jordan Riley, who rushed for 132 yards and a pair of scores on only 15 carries.
