Preview: Flat Rock Rams vs. Ida Bluestreaks
Flat Rock has enjoyed a four-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. The Flat Rock Rams and the Ida Bluestreaks will round out the year against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday at. Hopefully Flat Rock focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 24 on Tuesday.
Last Tuesday, Flat Rock might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Airport an easy 53-30 win. Flat Rock has not had much luck with Airport recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Despite the loss, Flat Rock had strong showings from Mckenna Williams, who scored 12 points, and Lily Klein, who scored five points along with ten rebounds. Klein set a new season high mark in blocks with two.
Flat Rock struggled to work together and finished the game with only an assist. That's the fewest assists they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Ida sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 53-50 victory over Adrian on Tuesday.
Flat Rock's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Ida, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Flat Rock was dealt a bruising 55-18 defeat at the hands of Ida in their previous meeting back in December of 2016. The contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Flat Rock was down 35-9.
