Basketball Recap: Ridgeview Takes a Loss

Ridgeview lost against Tremont back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Ridgeview Mustangs came up short against the Tremont Turks, falling 82-61. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (60), the Mustangs still had to take the loss.

Ridgeview has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-7 record this season. As for Tremont, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ridgeview will head out to challenge Cornerstone Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Ridgeview has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Tremont, they will venture away from home to face off against Deer Creek-Mackinaw at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
