Basketball Recap: Pro-Vision Academy Drops Highest Score of Season Against Milby

Pro-Vision Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 71-59 to the Milby Buffs. One positive for the Warriors, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Milby's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Albert Sample III, who went 6 for 13 on his way to 15 points and eight rebounds. Sample III is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. Delani Pestaina was another key player, going 5 of 10 on his way to 14 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.

Pro-Vision Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Milby, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-8.

Pro-Vision Academy and Cesar E. Chavez will round out the year against one another at at 10:00 a.m. on December 28th. As for Milby, they and Westbury will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. Westbury will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Milby surely won't give up without a fight.
