Baseball Recap: Hampton Bulldogs vs. South Greene Rebels
Hampton took a 14-run loss the last time they faced off against South Greene, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Bulldogs narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Rebels 8-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bulldogs have posted against the Rebels since May 2, 2018.

Elisha Henson made a splash while hitting and pitching. He struck out six batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off six hits. Hampton is 2-1 when Henson allows one or fewer earned runs, but 3-8 otherwise. Henson was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March.
