Volleyball Recap: Bryant Comes Up Short

Bryant managed to slip by Little Rock Christian Academy the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Hornets came up short against the Warriors on Monday, falling 3-0. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Bryant was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-23, 25-16.

Taylor Lease paced Bryant's offense, picking up eight kills. Lease got some help from Livi Smith and her 13 assists.

Bryant's loss dropped their record down to 6-12-3. As for Little Rock Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 11-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Bryant will challenge Jonesboro at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Little Rock Christian Academy, they will head out to square off against Jacksonville at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
