Volleyball Recap: Lehighton Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Lehighton came into Tuesday's match having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They blew past the Pen Argyl Green Knights 3-0 on Tuesday. This was a revenge game for the Indians: when they faced off against the Green Knights back in September, they had to take a 3-1 loss.

Lehighton not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Pen Argyl between 19 and 21 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-21, 25-19.

Despite the defeat, Pen Argyl saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Emily McHale had 15 digs and two assists.

Lehighton's win bumped their record up to 5-12. As for Pen Argyl, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season.
