Hanahan and West Ashley are an even 3-3 against one another since March of 2015, but likely not for long. The Hawks will head out to take on the Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.

On Wednesday, Hanahan made easy work of Philip Simmons and carried off a 10-2 win. Considering the Hawks have won five contests by more than seven runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Ashley). Their pitchers stepped up to hand Stall an 18-0 shutout on Wednesday. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Sammy Connor looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits.

At the plate, Henry Wood was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Paxton Hurley, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.

West Ashley always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .625. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Stall only posted an OBP of .250.

Hanahan has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for West Ashley, their record now sits at 3-9.
