There's no place like home for Fuqua, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They put the hurt on the Amelia Academy Patriots with a sharp 16-0 victory on Tuesday. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Patriots recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.
Marissa Dempsey was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances.
