Basketball Recap: Joseph Drops Season-High Score on Open Door Christian Academy

Joseph was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They received a blow as they fell 54-38 to the Open Door Christian Academy Huskies. One positive for the Eagles, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Joseph's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Open Door Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Joseph will take on Sherman in a holiday battle at at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Open Door Christian Academy and Horizon Christian will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
