It was a good run, but Graham unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Shallowater Mustangs. The Steers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Graham's defeat dropped their record down to 14-2. As for Shallowater, their win bumped their record up to 11-1.

Coming up, Graham will face off against Windthorst at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Trojans will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Steers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Shallowater, they are on the road again on Saturday to play Paradise at 6:00 p.m.
