Basketball Recap: Northview Takes a Loss

Northview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They took a 66-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Woodland Wolfpack. Even if the Titans couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their offense, which had struggled int the games prior.

Omari Scott went supernova for Woodland, going 9 for 19 en route to 22 points and eight rebounds. Scott continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Sekou Reid, who went 6 of 13 on his way to 12 points and three steals.

Northview's defeat dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Woodland, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-10.

Northview has already played their next match, a 69-38 victory against Clarkston on the 24th. As for Woodland, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 51-42 loss against Hampton on the 24th.
