Whitehouse is a perfect 5-0 against Marshall since January of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Whitehouse Wildcats will venture away from home to square off against the Marshall Mavericks at 7:00 p.m. Marshall took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Whitehouse, who comes in off a win.

It was a proper cat-fight when Whitehouse took on Mt. Pleasant on Tuesday. Whitehouse blew past Mt. Pleasant 3-0. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won five games by three goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Marshall was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Lufkin.

Whitehouse has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those six contests. As for Marshall, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8.

Everything went Whitehouse's way against Marshall when the teams last played back in January, as Whitehouse made off with a 4-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Whitehouse since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
