Soccer Recap: Abingdon Comes Up Short

Abingdon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 10-2 to the Blacksburg Bruins. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Blacksburg this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 last Tuesday.

Mason Sollien and Sean Campbell scored both of Abingdon's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Abingdon's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Blacksburg, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Abingdon will host Lee at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Blacksburg, they will look to defend their home pitch on April 3 against Fleming at 7:00 p.m.
