Basketball Recap: Crescent Beats Perry for Their Third Straight Victory

Crescent hadn't done well against Perry recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Crescent Tigers strolled past the Perry Maroons with points to spare, taking the game 65-46. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 94th, while the Maroons are ranked 396th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory (which was Crescent's third in a row) raised their record to 16-5. As for Perry, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 14 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crescent will host Christian Heritage at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Perry, they will be playing at home against Morrison at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
