Basketball Recap: Deer Creek-Lamont Takes a Loss

Deer Creek-Lamont was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss. They lost 35-14 to the Pond Creek-Hunter Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 48-20 back in December of 2024.

Deer Creek-Lamont's record is now 1-21. As for Pond Creek-Hunter, their victory ended a ten-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-16.

Deer Creek-Lamont didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 52-4 defeat against Texhoma on the 8th. As for Pond Creek-Hunter, they have also already played their next game, a 49-24 loss against Hooker on the 8th.
