Pecos can bid farewell to their six-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 16-2 margin over the Mora Rangers/Rangerettes. That looming 16-2 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Panthers yet this season.

Brandon Holton was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing four bases while going 2-for-4. Pecos is 3-1 when Holton posts two or more runs, but 0-6 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Shawney Villanueva, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-2.

Pecos' victory bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Mora, they dropped their record down to 0-3 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Pecos beat Mora by a score of 16-0 later that day.
