Basketball Game Preview: Malad Dragons vs. Grace Grizzlies

Malad hasn't had much luck against Grace recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Malad Dragons will be playing in front of their home fans against the Grace Grizzlies at 7:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Malad lost 61-38 to American Falls back in December of 2024. The game marked the Dragons' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Grace opened the new year with a less-than-successful 45-33 defeat to American Falls. While losing is never fun, the Grizzlies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Idaho basketball rankings (they are ranked 105th, while the Beavers are ranked 33rd).

Grace has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season. As for Malad, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.
