Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Covenant Christian). They breezed by the Providence Cristo Rey Wolves to the tune of 80-31 on Tuesday. The Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four games by 40 points or more this season.

Cason Soots was his usual excellent self, going 12 of 22 on his way to 33 points and seven steals. Those 33 points gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Mark Crane, who went 6 for 8 en route to 15 points and five rebounds.

Covenant Christian was working as a unit and finished the game with 26 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Covenant Christian is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.4 points per game. As for Providence Cristo Rey, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-6.

Covenant Christian will take on Cathedral in a tournament on Saturday. Covenant Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven contests -- so hopefully Cathedral likes a good challenge. As for Providence Cristo Rey, they will be playing at home against Purdue Broad Ripple at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
