Baseball Recap: Eminence Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Eminence's offense. They lost 13-0 to the Western Hills Wolverines on Wednesday. The Warriors' loss continues a trend for the team, making it eight in a row dating back to last season.

Eminence saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kendrick Cassity, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Eminence's record now sits at 0-3. As for Western Hills, the win was the seventh in a row (dating back to last season) for them, bringing their record for this year to 2-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eminence will welcome Owen County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Western Hills, they will be playing at home against Bath County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
