The Bethel Academy Blazers pushed their score all the way to 64 on Monday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were dealt a 93-64 defeat at the hands of Lanham Christian. Bethel Academy was down 64-39 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Lanham Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Diego Joy, who almost dropped a double-double on 22 points and nine rebounds. It was the first time this season that Joy pulled down eight or more rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Tre Ray, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten rebounds.

Bethel Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Lanham Christian, they pushed their record up to 16-3 with that win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Bethel Academy will head out on the road to take on the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lanham Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Mustangs at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
