Basketball Recap: El Camino Colts vs. Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory Fightin' Irish

El Camino lost against Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory back in January of 2015 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The El Camino Colts took a 70-62 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory Fightin' Irish. Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory found their leader in sophomore Kiran Tate-Day, who went 7 of 8 on his way to 19 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Tate-Day has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Cory Wong, who posted nine points and three steals.

El Camino suffered their first home defeat, dropping their record down to 5-2. As for Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1.

El Camino will look to defend their home court on Monday against Wallenberg at 6:30 p.m. Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory will take on Justin-Siena in a holiday battle at at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
