Baseball Recap: Medina's Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak at Home

The home team had come away the winner the last five times Medina and Leakey had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Bobcats fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 11-10 on Tuesday. The Bobcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 16-4.

Davis Peterson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored four runs and stole three bases while going 3-for-4. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more stolen bases the last three times he's played.

Medina's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-4. As for Leakey, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-13.

Coincidentally, Medina and Leakey will both be playing Menard the next time they take the field. The Eagles will head out to face the Yellowjackets at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Bobcats will host them at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
