After losing to Telluride the last time they met, Crested Butte decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Titans never let the Miners get on the board and left with a 5-0 win on Friday. The result was nothing new for Crested Butte, who have now won nine matches by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Telluride with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Max Naughton (2), Shawn Moran (2), and Wyatt Cook.

Crested Butte is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-2-1 record this season. As for Telluride, they moved to 12-3 with that defeat, which also ended their ten-match winning streak.

Crested Butte didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, an 8-0 victory against Ridgway on the 25th. Telluride does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
