Basketball Recap: Timberland Wolves vs. Stratford Knights
Timberland extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to nine on Wednesday, dropping them down to 0-8. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Stratford Knights an easy 67-44 victory. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 69-65 last Wednesday.

Despite the loss, Timberland still got an impressive performance from Kevin Brown, who went 8-for-11 to rack up 24 points and seven boards. Brown is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games he's played. Ellis Wiggins was another key player, putting up ten points.
As for Stratford, they now have a winning record of 6-5. Given their advantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 116th, while Timberland is ranked 233rd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.
