Soccer Game Preview: Centaurus vs. Silver Creek

The Centaurus Warriors will face off against the Silver Creek Raptors at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Centaurus has given up an average of 3.4 goals per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Centaurus is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Mead just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Thursday. They lost 8-1 to the Mavericks. Having soared to a lofty nine goals in the game before, Centaurus couldn't push the score so high this time.

Their goal came courtesy of Makena Ringer, who's now up to six this season.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Silver Creek was not quite Skyline's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They fell 3-1 to the Falcons. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, Silver Creek couldn't push the score so high this time.

Silver Creek's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Centaurus, they now have a losing record of 4-5.
