Softball Game Preview: Perspectives Leadership/Technology Warriors vs. Simeon Wolverines

For the second straight game, Perspectives Leadership/Technology will face off against Simeon. The Warriors will host the Wolverines at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Perspectives Leadership/Technology has given up an average of 10.8 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Tiya Jones led a balanced group of hitters, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with four stolen bases, five runs, and two RBI. Jones is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's snagged at least two every time she's taken the field this season. Laya Barker was another key player, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with four RBI and two runs.

The win (which was Simeon's seventh in a row) raised their record to 7-3. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.3 runs over those games. As for Perspectives Leadership/Technology, their defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 5-3.
