Connetquot came tearing into Saturday's matchup with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 1-0 W against Smithtown West. The game was the first time the T-Birds have beaten Smithtown West on their court since November 11, 2019.

Gisele Trzaskalski paced Connetquot's offense, picking up four kills. Trzaskalski got some help from Leah White and her five assists. Alexandra Patsos controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Connetquot's victory bumped their record up to 17-2-1. As for Smithtown West, they moved to 17-4-2 with that defeat, which also ended their three-match winning streak.
