Connetquot waltzed into their match on Saturday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 1-0 W against Smithtown West. For the T-Birds, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 win Smithtown West walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2021.

Gisele Trzaskalski paced Connetquot's offense, picking up four kills. Trzaskalski got some help from Leah White and her five assists. Alexandra Patsos controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Connetquot's victory bumped their record up to 17-2-1. As for Smithtown West, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-4-1.

Connetquot didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Commack on the 6th. As for Smithtown West, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Bellport on the 6th.
