Klein Cain and Midway squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Klein Cain had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 5-4. The Hurricanes' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Braden Cox was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Alex Mayon was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
